I got my first camera when I turned 11, from the hands of a "less-than-favourite" aunt. A Minolta Autopak was in the box waiting for me. A very basic camera for a very young boy.

It was an out-of-this-world thing to have and I started snapping photos : my own face, toys, weird things I found. At that time it was hard to tell that I would have a camera with me, in one way or another, for the rest of my life.

The photos in this site follow these rules:

  • No filters or retouching. Crops are minimal.
  • Ambient light where possible
  • Minimal intervention with the subjects
  • No posing
  • All are my own photos, unless credited
